Pulse of Life for Relief and Development

Pulse of Life for Relief and Development

An independent relief and development organization founded in Deir ez-Zor in  2013, Pulse for Life’s aim is to re-establish life in a society severely suffering from deteriorating humanitarian conditions, by alleviating people’s suffering, raising their standard of living, and protecting marginalized groups. Pulse of Life works in the service sector, particularly food security, shelter security and refugee camp management, as well as health, education and protection services.

The organization seeks to build a society free of poverty and exploitation, by encouraging volunteerism and public participation among Deir ez-Zor’s young people. Its efforts have resulted in the construction of a hospital in Jdied Bakara that provides free services to citizens, and establishing a pumping station for drinking water in the village of Jadid Bakara through donations collected from local supporters.
