Launched in 2019, Albaghooz Hope is a humanitarian relief organization founded by a group of young people from Deir ez-Zor to restore normalcy and secure basic needs in the Baguz region — recently liberated from ISIS control. The organization’s values are built on respect for neutrality and human rights. Its activities cover humanitarian and educational sectors.
Since its inception, Albaghooz Hope has become noted for its rapid response to community needs. Key projects include the removal of land mines and war remnants in Baguz; the recovery of the bodies of the victims; and securing the return of displaced persons to their homes.
It also supports the agricultural sector through the rehabilitation of the local Agricultural Association, as well as helping with the rehabilitation of the main irrigation plant in Baguz.
